Framesets are limited to creating columns and rows individually. But, the user can place multiple framesets in the same file.

FRAMESET COLS Defines the number of frame columns and their width
FRAMESET FRAMEBORDER Designated borders around each frame.
FRAMESET FRAMESPACING Designates the space, in pixels between fram es.
FRAMESET ROWS Defines the number of frame rows and their heights
FRAME - Defines the contents of a frame within a frameset
FRAME MARGINHEIGHTControls the height of the inner frame margins by pixels.
FRAME MARGINWIDTH Controls the width of the inner frame margins by pixels.
FRAME NAME Designates the name of the frame
FRAME NORESIZE Prevents the user from resizing the frame.
FRAME SCROLLING Controls the display of scrollbars. If this is set to NO, it removes the scrollbars because AUTO is the default value
FRAME SRC Specifies the URL, or partial URL, of the document displayed in a frame.
NO FRAMES - Provides for browsers that do not support frames


Floating frames are scrollable areas that appear in the Web page. This can be placed anywhere in the Web page. The <IFRAME> tag is used for creating a floating frame.
