Global Object

The global object is defined to associate an object with globally accessible variables and functions defined in the pervious versions of JavaScript. The Global object cannot be referenced or created explicitly. The Global object's properties and methods can be referenced directly as variables and functions. The following are the methods defined by the Global object.

Escape(string)

The given string is transformed to a new string where some characters are converted into escape sequences,

eval(x):

The value of the expression is evaluated and returned.

isFinilte(number):

Returns true if the number is finite, else false.

isNaN(value):

Returns true if value is not a number.

unescape(string):

The string encoded by the escape method method is transformed back to its original value.
