A JSP directive is a statement that provides global information to the page.It gives information to the JSP engine, for the page that follows. The general syntax of a JSP directive is:
< %@directive (attribute value") %> where the directive may have a number of optional attributes. Example : <%@ page language "Java" %> <%@ page extends "package.class" %> Directives in JSP 1.1 are . 1 . Include directive files to be included. Page directive information for that page. 3. Taglib directive the URI for a library of tags that you'll use in the page.
