Netscape's Vision of DHTML

There are three components of Netscape's vision of DHTML.
The use of Layers to move, hide, and show blocks of HTML on the web page. The layers can react to users event.
Precise control over formatting, fonts, layouts, and other aspects of page behaviour through style sheets, Netscape includes support for the W3C CSS1 specification, which Microsoft uses, and JavaScript Assisted Style Sheet (JSSS).
Dynamic fonts which are attached to a web page instead of dependent on
the options available on the user's machine.
