Recording Actions
As we have already discussed that the Action palette contains the buttons required for recording. There is a Recording button represented by a solid black circle, a Stop button represented by a solid square and the Play button represented by a white triangle.
Before clicking the Record button to record an action you need to create a new action and give it a name. If you do not create a new set, the new actions get inserted into the selected set of actions. Let us take a simple example to understand Recording of Actions. The example given below is that of an action in which we will create an action that converts an image to 150-pixel width.
